Scrappy Star Throw Quilt | Quilted Lap Blanket with Soft Minky Back

Attractive scrappy stars are perfect for your living room decor, especially at Christmastime. With a soft minky backing this quilted throw blanket is perfect for snuggling! The minky backing also makes the quilt a little heavier than a quilt with a cotton back; so it will feel a little like a weighted blanket.

Generously sized at about 72 x 78 inches (183x198 cm) it is suitable for adults and kids alike.

Quilting is done with a freemotion feather design. This means freehand machine stitching, not computer. Binding is attached by machine for added durability.

All aspects of the quilt, from fabric choice to cutting, stitching, quilting and finishing, were completed by myself, in my rural Ontario home. (smoke and pet free)

Additionally, I have washed this quilt once so that you don't have to be intimidated by the laundering process. It is preshrunk, colorfast, and fabrics are soft and pliable with that 'crinkly' look that is typical of an old fashioned, well loved quilt.
