Are you worried about hanging your mini quilt?

Are you worried about hanging your mini quilt?

Do you love the look of small quilts but feel intimidated about how to hang them?

Don't be! Here is a simple, affordable method that uses Command Strips instead of some sort of bracket attached with nails or screws. Wonderfully, you don't have to put holes in the wall!

This also means that you can change your mind and re-situate your mini quilts, with no need to butter up Hubby to patch a few holes! Yay! This is especially great for seasonal and holiday quilts.

This video by Crafty Gemini walks you through her simple and effective procedure. She gives lots of reassurance along the way, including removal procedure and proof of success.

Note: this method is for painted walls! (If you have wallpaper, it is highly likely the Command Strip glue would rip off wallpaper when you try to remove them.)

I found this video on YouTube years ago, and it is my go-to method now! I have even omitted her poster board and glue step and put the Command Strips right on the back of my little quilts.

The part I was most worried about was removing them when I want to move the quilt. I was really afraid I would peel off paint and leave behind an ugly patch with drywall showing. But, yes, it really works if you pull straight down on the little tab, it really will come off without leaving anything on your wall!

Remember, if you want to hang a larger quilt that has more weight, check the specs on the package. You may need to purchase bigger Command Strips and/or put several across the back of the quilt to hold it nicely.
